change IST

hey i just read this somewhere - a wonderful idea - changing the Indian Standard Time, makin lag behind by half an hour than the present..
A salaam to those who conceived this idea. Its a super money saver...especially for a country like India thats gonna overtake China in some years(by the way of population).
India will be able to use more of the daylight, abundantly available..this in turn will save electricity (and cosequently money)....the more important thing is that it will decrease pollution as the need for production of electricity decreases......this saves a lot if summed up- around a 1000 crores annualy!!!!!(as per the estimate)....
It is also a step towards control of global warming which is hitting every part of the earth in one of its deadliest traits-floods, droughts, hurricanes.....drastic changes in the seasonal cycles.................and things known to all.
The proposal to implement the plan has been put up before the government...hope n wish it gets implemented soon......or else we'll keep hanging in the un-understanable Montreal protocol, Kyoto protocol and a hundred international summits which mostly end up giving impractical ideal solutions.
This ones practical, feasible n free of cost with no side effects.

papyrus vs internet

e-books n many others jst to name one help us save a lot of money xcept da downloadin n internet use cost which r very low to bother about...
but still i prefer da original papyrus books to read...
isnt the technology making everyone idle..right frm kids to oldies.
As indicated by a thousand researches that the obesity statistics are rising at an alarming rate especially in the kids, isnt it high time that some action must be taken so that the future earthizens remain more active..!! "Gizmo freaks", as they are rightly called, are addicted to internet, computers n electronic gadgets. They prefer playing all the sports on their gizmo rather playing them on field..wat a pity!!
A number of syndromes use them as their playing field....
Lets have a proper balance or else the gizmo side will drop down due to overweight...!!!

Independent India

The Indian Subcontinent turns 60 this wednesday.
India celebrates her independence from the british rule...years ago the britishers left India...but wer have reached after sixty long years?
India presents highly contrasting characters. On one hand technological advencement of a million type in every damn field..on the other hand, many dont even have the basic amenities of life.
Poverty still strikes every part of the country....the problems still remain! Many goals still unaccomplished..!!
India has undoubtedly made a remarkable progress in science n technology. India is a well preferred market for any newly invented gizmo..its stands among the toppers in the biz buzz...
the famous bollywood is now gettin globalised. Indian actors r workin on international projects n they r succesful. India has become a major brand.
On the sporty side, India is trying to learn more than just cricket. Everything's changing, hopefully for the better...
